SPAIN. . . ON THE ROAD AGAIN
Ride along with Oscar®-winner Gwyneth Paltrow, chef Mario Batali, author/journalist Mark Bittman and Spanish actress Claudia Bassols on the unscripted, anything-goes, cross-country road-trip, Spain...on the road Again.Their fun and spontaneous journey showcases the culinary pleasures of Spain, along with the country's art, history, culture and music.

Nick has a hot Latin tune from his soon-to-be-released second CD, Rounding The Bend, on the show. Mambolita! Is the title of the tune.

Nick has written several tunes that have appeared in feature Hollywood films and independent videos. Uma Cobra Louca, for example, a smooth Latin piece, can be heard in the movie Mini's First Time.

MINI'S FIRST TIME, directed by Nick Guthe and with an all star cast that includes Alec Baldwin, Carrie-Anne Moss, Luke Wilson, Jeff Goldblum, and starring Nikki Reed ("Thirteen," "The OC") as Mini. HBO has the video rights to the picture.

“Get Out of the Blue” is another one of Nick’s tunes that is featured prominently in an independent film from Dora Mae Productions.

You can hear “Piece Offering”, the title cut from Nick’s first CD, in the TV pilot "Beautiful People". "Beautiful People" was an American drama television series that aired on ABC Family from August 8, 2005 to April 24, 2006.

Synopsis: When Lynn Kerr finds herself newly single after her husband runs off with his mistress, she decides to start a new life with her teen daughters, Karen and Sophie. So, they pack their bags and move from a small town in New Mexico to New York City where looks can be deceiving.




Several of Nick’s Latin styled tunes are featured in the Travel Sophisticate DVD: Costa Rica – A Traveler’s Guide 2004-2005.

Nick’s day job is also pretty interesting. He works for NASA at the Langley research center in Hampton, Virginia. In fact even NASA has recognized Nick’s musical talent and have spotlighted him on the main NASA web site: (Click on picture for full story).
